After studying at the New York School of Interior Design, Betsy joined esteemed Architectural Digest ‘AD100’ recognized firms, David Easton Inc. and Sills Huniford. During her time in NYC working alongside some of the country’s leading design talent, Betsy completed work on many prominent residential projects across the United States, as well as several noteworthy residential and commercial projects abroad.
Betsy established her Charleston, SC based design firm, B. Berry Interiors in 2013. By focusing on hand-selected pieces, partnering with artisans for custom finishes and fabrication, and finding newfound beauty in antique materials, Betsy is able to achieve a high level of sophistication and uniqueness in each of her projects, while also reflecting her client’s individual aesthetic and lifestyle needs.
Recent projects include a full scale renovation of a historic property in downtown Charleston, a sophisticated New York City high rise residence, and a serene family retreat on Kiawah Island.
Betsy’s work has been featured in Architectural Digest, Vogue, Elle Décor, Garden & Gun and Southern Living, among others. She was recently included as finalist for the ADAC/Veranda 2021 Southeast Designer of the Year Awards for her residential portfolio.
