BETSY BERRY

A native of the South Carolina Lowcountry, Betsy Berry grew up with a profound appreciation for historic architecture. Her love of aesthetic design led her to study fashion in Florence, Italy, but her ardor for historic preservation held strong. After studying at the New York School for Interior Design, she melded her passions for architecture and style, working under some of the world’s most renowned designers—including Sills Huniford and David Easton.

Betsy believes strongly in the power of story and its impact on interiors. She selects antique and hand-crafted pieces and works closely with artisans to forge custom finishes. Every space she creates is both elegant and comfortable, with unique details that seamlessly blend the history of a property with clean, modern touches.

Betsy and her team relish each new client relationship and endeavor to gain a deep understanding of their personal preferences and needs. Communication and collaboration are of the utmost importance to Betsy’s process—allowing her to create spaces that feel inherently unique and utterly personal; while also appropriate to their surroundings. While every client is different, the end goal is always the same: to make their homes more beautiful, functional, and serene. Whether designing residential and hospitality projects in Charleston, Colorado, or Cabo San Lucas, Betsy and her team focus on creating spaces that feel authentic and individual.
